Guest listeners
Interested individuals have the opportunity to register for individual courses as guest listeners. The course catalog published at the beginning of each semester contains the entire course programme. All courses are open to the listeners, so long as you have the consent of the respective lecturer and there are free places in the class. However, you will not receive private lessons and are not allowed to practice at the University.
Artistic aptitude required
If you would like to apply as a guest listener with us, you should have sufficient education and artistic aptitude.
Guest auditors have to pay a fee of €102 per semester.
A reduced guest auditor fee of €50 per semester applies to pupils, students of other universities, unemployed persons, welfare recipients, persons doing military or civilian service, persons doing a voluntary ecological or social year and severely disabled persons with a degree of disability of at least 50%.
On the application for guest auditor studies, the desired courses are to be noted and the signatures of the relevant university lecturers are to be enclosed. Please hand in the completed application for one semester at a time to the Office for Students, Room 244 by October 1st or April 1st.

- Guest students are not admitted to examinations.
- They are not members of the University and do not have the right to practice here.
- Credits earned in guest auditor studies are not recognized within the framework of a degree program.
