Semester Extension
Every degree at the Trossingen University of Music has a predetermined standard period of study. Students who cannot deliver the study credit and examinations according to the study record book in the standard period of study have the possibility to complete these course achievements either upon application for an extension semester or in accordance with the specifications of the respective study and examination regulations within three months as an external achievement (maximum 10%).
Only by Application
An extension semester can only be granted in justified cases. Should an application for an extension semester be granted, the entitlement to lessons remains unaffected. Consequently, there is no entitlement to further classes in the extension semester.

Additional individual artistic lessons: Students, who were actively enrolled for at least 2 or more corona semesters (during this time not on leave or similar), can apply for one smester of additional individual artistic lessons. The application with help from the Form for Individual Lessons in the elective area must be provided to the Student Administration at the beginning of the last regular semester at the latest. The signature of the instructor is not required. However, please inform the affected instructor. You can apply for lessons for instruments/areas that were/are taken in the corresponding semesters and for which no final examination has yet been taken.
