The university's student dormitory - the Hohner-stiftung - is located about 20 minutes' walk from the university and the city centre in a quiet suburban location. It offers reasonably priced accommodation in fully furnished rooms. Practice rooms are available as well.

KunstWerk B
The "KunstWerk B", a residential and cultural centre for artists combined with a private music academy, has been located directly opposite the university in a building of the former Hohner factory since 2007. Accommodation is available in double or shared rooms (self-catering, half or full board).
