ASIMUT - Digital Room-Booking System

All concert and teaching rooms of the Trossingen University of Music are booked through the room-booking system Asimut.

Information About the Room-Booking System Asimut

You can reach the Trossingen portal of the room-booking system Asimut by the following link: https://hfm-trossingen.asimut.net/public/login.php

  • Username: Your University email address (for lecturers who do not have a university address, the private address)
  • Password: The password chosen for Asimut. A new one can be created using the "Set/reset password" button
  • Booking: Go to "Rooms" in the navigation on the left. All rooms that you are entitled to book are displayed here in the selection menu (please primarily book here). Select the day you want in the room overview (the calendar appears when you click on the three dots in the upper right corner) and click on the time in the room you want to book. Select the booking category. A window opens in which you can specify the specific start and end times. Here you can also change the date, enter comments and add participants. Save the booking and the desired room is reserved for you.
  • Confirmation: Please note that you must reconfirm the room on site, otherwise the booking will be forfeited. Teachers can confirm their booking from 12 hours before and up to 55 minutes after the start of the booking, students 1 hour before and 10 minutes after.

More exact information and to book a room, contact Daniela Hügner

Students can book rooms for chamber music rehearsals up to three days in advance at the front desk.

Daniela Hügner can help you book concert spaces as well as the alternative rooms in the Musikschule (mornings) and the Löhrschule (afternoons).

Mechtild Neininger-Hofmann is in charge of user administration and basic questions about Asimut as well as booking rules and quotas.

Your room booking is just "tentative." You have to confirm your book on site, otherwise it will automatically expire, the room will be released by the system and can then be booked by others.

How room confirmation works:

  • You will see a "Confirm" ("Bestätigen") button under your booking in your personal schedule. Just click on it.
  • However, reconfirmation is only possible if you are logged into the university's WLAN with a cell phone or other mobile device or call up your bookings on a computer at the Rote Theke (please don't forget to log out there). Of course, you can book your room yourself from any location with an internet connection.
  • For teachers: The confirmation can be done 12 hours in advance at the earliest and must be done one hour after the beginning of the booking at the latest.
  • For studendts: The confirmation can be done one hour in advance at the earliest and must be done 10 minutes after the beginning of the booking at the latest.
