Master's Degree in Vocal Ensemble

This study programme offers a deepening and further development of knowledge, skills and artistic self-conception at a high artistic level for the profession of a singer in a professional vocal ensemble/choir. It offers a flexible framework for individual and independent study with intensive practical relevance. The focus is on singing in a vocal ensemble up to the professional choir level. The mastery of singing-specific requirements, text comprehensibility, sound design and form, stylistic and aesthetic questions of interpretation, contextual knowledge, the development of a representative repertoire, concert experience and performance competence form the essential challenges in the course of study. Body and movement work support the artistic performance. Art Song (Lied) literature and Contemporary Music complement the study focus.
